Optimization of structural buildings deals with a “design” of structures that minimize the construction cost and fulfill the required performance simultaneously. The performance of the different structural systems varies due to different behaviour of structures to lateral and gravitational loads. An accurate understanding of the concept mentioned above is of great importance. Our group proposed solutions and algorithms to challenging optimization problems by considering the following concepts.
